Arsenic, lead and other toxic metals detected in tampons, study finds

A recent study from the Journal of Environmental International found that tampons sold in the United States and Europe contain more than a dozen metals, including lead and arsenic. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is reviewing the findings, but consumers are urged to take precautions in the meantime. Read more here.
